Bently UFO shimmy RR Procedure

Bentley says in section 46.27:
"Follow the procedure below to eliminate recurring problems with
steering wheel shimmy during braking."
<snip>
Vehicles less than 40,000 miles replace worn or damaged control arm
bushings as neeeded.
Vehicles with more than 40,000 miles replace both front inner and outer
front control arm bushings.

My '91 200 tq is at 95k miles. Has anyone had any luck with changing the
control arm bushings or are new rotors always the only cure for the
shimmies?

Thanks,
Wolff
