RE: Installing driving lights - help
It's very convenient to use the "jump-starting post" on the passenger side
of the engine compartment. You can unbolt it, slip a ring terminal over it,
and re-bolt it. Naturally you'll need an inline fuse in the wire coming off
of your ring terminal.
Dunno about the firewall. I'd wire-em to work off the hi-beams.

Subject: Installing driving lights - help
Q -
I am installing driving lights on my 91 200, and have a couple of questions
for people that may have BTDT.
1) Power: where is the best place to get power from? Obviously taking it
from the battery is no good since its in the back. I've heard people talk
about taking it direct from the alternator - how is that done?
2) Where is the best place to go through the firewall for the switch?
Theses are Catz lights, so anyone who's been there, I'd like to hear from.
Thanks,
