This is the PCV hose....your failure is common, which is why the hose has
been replaced by 3 pieces - a short rubber hose, attached to a metal hose,
which then attaches to metal hose going into the crankcase.  Let me know if
you want part #'s (I've done this conversion a number of times)..........SLM
