A4 Avant Partition grille question

Just took delivery of an A4 Avant Q and just noticed that it doesn't have
the partition grille which the dealer and the owners manual say it comes
with.  
Anyone have any information on this? 
Anyone with an A4 Avant have this thing?
It's supposed to be a retractable net that is attached to the rear seatback
and can be extended to fasten along the roof in either the rear area (with
setback up) or behind the front seats when the seatbacks are folded down.
Believe it or not this was one of the reasons my wife and I chose this car
over an SUV since we have to cart around two Golden Retrievers.
