OK, here's another datapoint (in "defense" of the Graf's):

I've used the Graf waterpumps on three (3) different cars in the last
two years and not one of them make any noise.

Personally, I like them.  They're cheap (I pay $32) and I can pick them
up locally with no wait time required.

With a waterpump and timing belt available for $40 total, and the use of
air tools, the TB and WP R/R isn't really a dreaded chore around this
lister's garage any more!
