Here's the email reply I received from Jim re: his Motronic modifying
software package. Anyone able to download their EPROM? [Seems like we're on
the way to a quattro club 3B chip set...]
Should (?) also work for the 1.8 4-cyl turbo A4s...

Luckily you emailed.. your phone number was..
603.. bzzzt7-9700 x116
Do you have any EPROM files of Audi Motronics?!?
What I do is this..
I disassemble each Motronic and annotate out the tables for fuel/spark/etc
(rev limits/speed limits/blah blah)
I create a "DESCRIPTOR FILE" for my program for each chip, and then
you can edit that chip with my program.. this leaves ALL the guesswork
out of it.. too often I've seen people do things like "raise the rev limit"
when they were in fact changing the "heartbeat" of the entire control loop
(This is BAD, btw... VERY VERY bad!)
So I made sure you only "touch" what you need to , and everything else
is automatic.. like checksums and such
The DEMO VERSION of the program will be out on the web next week
