Gerard,

I sent you EMAIL last week, but possibly it got lost. So, here is a
brief summary.

The problem is most likely in the wire bundle that goes from the
driver's door console into the body of the car. I have a 1990 200 TQ
that had the same problem (can't remember if it was the right or left
rear window that didn't work). I gently pushed back the rubber cover
that goes from the front of the door into the car frame and found
several broken wires. Once you push back the rubber covering, you will
see that there are several bundles of wires. One bundle is for the
power seats, one is for the power mirrors and the other is for the power
windows. Look closely at the wires and you will see many of them have
the insulation broken where they flex.

Most likely you will find several wires completely broken off. I cut
5-6 pieces of wire and simply replaced spliced them across the breaks.
If you can, be sure to solder the wires since they will probably corrode
over time. Also, use the most flexible wire you can find. If you work
carefully, you will not have to remove the inner door panel to do this.
There is enough slack in the wires to pull them slightly and add on the
extra wire.

I did this approximately a year ago and it has been working ok since
then. I suspect that I will have to do the remaining wires next summer.
Good luck,
