Minor correction (can't believe Ti was a wee bit off on this but we all make
mistakes in our memories...especialy me!!!).
In the US (can't speak for ROW) the 80/90 series had the Torsen diff when
introduced in '87 for the '88 model year. The 100/200 series cars were
introduced in '88 ('89 model year) and that was when they got the Torsen. The
'88 model year big body cars were still 5000's with the earlier quattro
system (which I still prefer-not to start that thread from hell again...LOL).
Correct me if I'm wrong...any of you *88* model year 5000q owners ;-).
