I'm sorry to hear that you're looking at so much money.  A lot
of people don't realize that air conditioners are a pretty
generic device and, if you can find pieces that will fit in the hole or
bolt to the bracket, you can substitute cheaper parts for the
killer priced ones you mention.  You may find a good air
conditioner shop that would be willing to work with you
to find some universal parts that will work.
