The "frameless window" audis have a floating frame holding the window glass
that can be adjusted up down and side to side to better seal to the rubber
seal on the door frame.  Just replaced the lock on my driver's door; the
adjustment is pretty easy, just mark where it sits, then loosen the bolts and
move the frame as needed.  

The most important part for the seal per Bentley on the front doors is the
curve at the top leading edge.
