Subject: Installing memory seats in 100S

I am looking at various 100S wagons and although most come with power
drivers seat, none of them came with memory. The local dealer said its
just a two hour job to install the control unit, and switch. Most parts
guys at the dealers are giving conflicting info about the need for a
wiring harness along with those other parts. Anybody have experience
with having this done? They advise me the following:

Contro unit $306.80
Memory switch $108.10
Wiring harness $626.08

I'll check with Linda@Carlson to bring the part costs down, so that will
help.

I realize this will cost around $1,000 but you should see my wife (who
is 5' 11" and all legs) and I (5'10" and no legs) fight over changing
the settings everytime we get in a car with no memory!

I am still working on finding a 100CSQW, but if I can't find one in my
budget, call me crazy, but this is an acceptable option.

Appreciate any suggestions from those who have BTDT.

Scott
