Oops,
I finally got around to actually checking things out-and it seems the white
lead is for the power antenna, and the two blue leads are for the
dash/console illumination. Sorry about that (insert dope slap here)...
Next question-It seems that I will have to give up the Audi/VW unswitched
power since I cannot turn off the backlighting on my new Blau(yeah it was
cheap-but then I just bought a 10 yr old Audi...).  So I was
wondering-since the yellow lead provides system power and the red lead must
be switched-what is the _closest_ and _easiest_ source of switched power
that wont get fried...   Could I attach the red lead to the Defrost or Seat
heater power or illumination? Or better yet to the relay that energizes the
power windows and seat memory and switch illumination-since they stay
energized until I open the drivers door :-).
