I'll check all the sugestions,  right now most people I gotten an e-mail
from say it's the vacuum pump...  Hope that's it!  If that's not it,
I'll
check for the dying lifter.  But the noise fades and returns at idle as 
Phil Payne metioned.

Thank's again everyone, I won't have a chance to check for another 
week.  I'll be away on Maui for work...  don't get much chance to 
use the quattro here in Hawaii except on beaches.  Oh well.

I'll let you all know what happens.
