Re: Multi Function Temp Sensor ('86-91 5000/200TQ)



It sez here that to get the new connector you must replace the entire
wiring harness.  Bah!  Humbug!

I "rebuilt" my own.  Note the color coding and the positions of each wire
in the connector.  Cut the wires close to the old connector.  Solder new
female 1/4 inch spade lug connectors on the wires.  Plug these new
connectors onto the proper male spade connectors of the MF switch.  It has
worked like a charm for 30+K miles until this last weekend when one came
off.  I plugged it back in and all is well (for now).
