re: XR4ti in AWD

I know this isn't really AUDI related but I noticed that some list
owners
own some XR4Ti's.  I know they are based on the old Ford Sierra, which
if
I'm not mistaked was available with All-Wheel-Drive much like the Ford
Escort Cosworth car.  Am I correct in this.
        IF so, then is the Merkur XR4Ti availavle with AWD.  IF so then
that would be a killer car to own, seems to me, with 175hp out of the
box.

The Merkur version never had AWD. Only the lucky Europeans could have
that. Mike Witman does have an imported four door Sierra awd is he
rallying though.
