Not only less expensive but also available. I have a 96 A4 Q ( this one is a
stick) now that I have priced at $25495. I spoke with a couple of dealer
friends and they are saying that the reason there are no pearl white
automatics available is that Audi was not doing pearl for a while (paint
problem?) and they didn't want to risk losing a production slot with a car
that was going to get back ordered.
Yesterday I was at Manheim Auto Auction,PA and saw a 1.8T in automatic and
pearl but didn't know if that would work for you. I have yet to see a 30 valve
2.8 A4 Q any where.
I'll keep you posted.
