Not that I really want to encourage this thread any more <grin>, but the
webmaster for the NWAQC is a heavy wrecker driver during the day, (his
"real" job) and had started as a light-duty tow truck driver.

One of the more recent additions he's made to the NWAQC web pages is a
FAQ about towing a quattro and some of the things to watch for.

It can be accessed from the NWAQC hompage (the address is in my .sig)
and you can reach the author of the article directly by using one of the
links on the webpage to the webmaster, or by emailing him directly at
nkennedy@juno.com.
