I checked my stable. BOLT SIZE OFFSET PART NUMBER
Early eighties GTI wheels: 4x100 6Jx14 H2 ET38 176601025
1984 4k fwd Ronals: 4x100 6Jx14 H2 ET45 811601025P
1986 4kq Ronals: 4x108 6Jx14 H2 ET45 853601025A
This confirms part of Ti's list. I'm glad this came up. Externally the
Ronals on the '84 and '86 look the same with the center caps on. I
thought I had a spare set for the Q, but no. If you look at the lug bolt
holes on the 108's, they are definately set futher out radially on the
wheel. The GTI wheels seem work fine on the 4k fwd despite the
difference in offset. Does anyone know what the '85's had? Did the 4K
and 4kq's change to 108 at the same time?
