Used bomb problems

Hi List!
This post is to confirm that I am stupid. Despite good advice from the
list, I bought a used bomb. And the result, you ask? You have guessed.
It's worse than my old one. Before change I had to press the pedal
really hard to get a "red triangle" light and it would go away after
couple of seconds. Now the light comes on couple of seconds after
starting the car and it stays on. I checked the servo and it doesn't
leak. No doubt, my "new" bomb is dead. !@#$%^&. I wasted $70 and half of
Sunday. In the bag I brought the "new" bomb in I found some red fluid
with characteristic smell. I think my "new" bomb was broken in the past
by some idiot who put ATF in the system. As for now, I disconnected the
sensor and am going to drive with this bomb until I buy a _factory_new_
one. (Fortunately, it's the time of the year when Santa visits my
company and brings thick envelopes as a gifts :-) ). I'm a little bit
worried about the ATF in the "new" bomb, though. Just how much fluid
remains in the bomb after it has been removed? I can imagine that some
ATF remained in the "new" bomb and now it will mix with the Pentosin in
my car. Is the amount of ATF that remained in the bomb enough to do any
harm? I'm going to change the Pentosin as a precautionary measure when
installing the new bomb. Is it enough, or should I flush the system in
some way?
Thanks for any answers and I promise to be more wise in the future.
