New Hak 1 purchase

I just got back from forking over the dough for a set of Hak1 s and steel
wheels. OUCH says the wallet. But I think I'll appreciate the investment
when it starts to snow again here in NY.

As for the Steel wheels.. well, they look pretty bad next to the pearl
paint job. Hmm.. to cover or not to cover... 

Initial impressions are fairly limited for now. They seemed much noiser
than I remember on my Mom's A6q (Hak 10s) but not unbearable. I didn't get
much of a chance to do much driving on them yet. If anything interesting
comes up, I'll share it.

Can't wait till spring when I get the 16" wheels and new rubber. Anybody
want to buy some Pearl White 89 200Q wheels.... rough shape... two of them
encourage bead leaks.. anybody.. anbody?
I'm sure that with some TLC they'd clean up nicely.
