Ha ha ha ha.  I've been on Interstates _and_ Autobahns.

And I've seen US Forces people venture out from Rhein-Main base onto the 
southbound Autobahn, heading for a weekend in the Black Forest and trying to do 
55mph in the centre lane with flagships passing in the outside lane at 130+ mph.
