3B rebuild, FWIW

We recently did a compression test on our three engines. Black '87 TQ
(240K miles) showed 135+ PSI on all five (same as when I bought it w/145K
miles), silver '87 TQ (168K miles) showed 110-130 PSI, and my son's '88 FWD NA
(125K miles) showed 180+ PSI on all five.
My son's car probably had the best care of the three. The woman who
owned it previously had regularly changed the oil at about 3K miles. I was
surprised at the high value on the gauge.
(BTW the black TQ is the one that has the bad bomb in it.)
     Later.
