Not entirely familiar with the regional colloquialisms, I took "I rang 
HM filth and reported it" to mean you snitched to the local 
constabulary.  As one who sometimes takes generous liberties with 
"suggested" terminal velocity regulations, I am put off. As I also 
inferred that your afore mentioned foray with a betrothed may have not 
been totally within the confines of the "suggested" speeds as well, if 
not so, please accept my apologies.  

Of course you did not mention if this particular malcontent was doing 
anything else to endanger life and limb, if he was being totally 
reckless fine, but I defer to the adage laying suspect the wisdom of 
carbon based life forms accelerating granite based projectiles within 
silicate based structures!
