Classic antenna problem, troubleshoot by pulling out the radio and using
a “test” antenna plugged into it. Any loose antenna will do. That will
isolate if it’s the radio or antenna on the car. Also check to see if
you have an “amplified” antenna. You’ll get the same problem if there is
no power to it. VERY possible if the radio has been switched by someone
not knowing the Audi wiring.
