The flatter, longer style lights on the type 44 body was used on U.S.
models starting 1986, on the 5000S Turbo and 5000S Turbo quattro. It
is continued on the 200 series in 1988.5. The taller style light is
used on the non-turbo 5000 series cars, and carried forward to the
1988.5 100 series. For 1984-1985, all 5000 series cars had the old
quad rectangular light setup with a chrome bezel.
