It is a 10th scale "4wd sedan" class r/c car. I assembled it, but it was
a kit. Many brands of chasis to choose from. Mine is an HPI PRO. The
body is also an HPI which was painted by my wife. These things are
really fast. Most people picture the speed of your basic Radio Sh** toy
that crawls around. This thing burns out all four tires for the 20 feet
and one or two seconds it takes to get to top speed of about 30 mph.
Seriously, the tires have to be belted so that they don't balloon out
from the extreme rpm's! The electric motor turns between 10 and 20
thousand rpms with a final drive of 2.13. I could go on about it
forever. Your best plan is to find a race and go watch. Of course you
will get the Q fever all over again.
