Thanks Phil, Orin, & Scott... Saturday, 1st job is to install my new
radiator fan resistor ($95 from Discount Imports, thanks to John
Karaski for the lead on them w/r/t the injector fan thermoswitch,
which I also bought ($8 + S&H!).

Then, I'll test the input & output functions. Finally, I'll unsolder
the ROM and install a socket. I would have preferred to have a copy
of the ROM code dump, and just sacrifice the existing ROM
(it's easier to install a socket by just cutting the ROM leads away
from the chip, then unsoldering each remaining lead, than it is
to try to unsolder the leads attached to the chip. Additionally,
the board is less likely to be mangled (but I use a hot element on
my iron to avoid this).

I'll keep everyone posted on how this goes.
