'91 200q salvage interest?

Well, I've finally heard from the insurance company. They claim they have
three salvage bids on my '91 200q. Two are very low, while the 3rd
bid--from my own Audi garage--is the high bid. I can have it for that (high
bid price). Question is what to do. I don't want to get into the
parting-out business. Right now I haven't space or need--except that the
front strut/rotors would be handy if I locate a '91 200q that needs the
brake retrofit kit.

I have somewhat limited info on condition at the moment: the engine/tranny
and suspension should be fine. It may even be driveable (in a technical
sense), but has not been started, to my knowledge. There was no actual deep
collision crunching or penetration. Damage is from scraping along a ditch
embankment followed by a slow rollover. The entire front bumper-cover was
stripped off, and I think one headlight is gone. Roof is moderately
flattened. Two left side tires went flat and there is some rim abrasion on
that side. Front/rear glass is OK. Some side glass broken. Interior is
good. New Boge Turbo gas shocks in front. Audi cell phone, Pioneer 6-CD
changer. Brand new bomb with 5 miles use! ;-)

Various people have expressed interest in certain parts. Some separate
parts could well be available--if my Audi guy buys it and wants to sell off
what he doesn't need to keep.

Any Qlisters have an interest in the _whole_ thing? It's located in central
NY, near Utica (about 20 miles from NYS Thruway).

Based on the current high bid, it would have to go for _over_ $3K to make
it worthwhile (for me) to not let my Audi shop buy it. Need to know by
Monday, 12/22/97. Thanks.
