I've built my own. It consists out of two 0.5m long Al extrusions shaped
like a Cyrillic equivalent of a Latin "P" with a 10mm side.
On the ends there are two spring loaded rods. They are attached to the
adjustable Al swivel feet with 8mm holes, so that they could be secured
on the cam bearing studs.
Once I attach those rails to where the cam used to be, I put a
cylindrical tube with vertical slots, that I machined out of brass, on
top of the top valve spring washer. I squeeze it down by the modified
brake pad compressor, which I fit in-between the brass tube and both
rails.
Once the spring is pre loaded you can get those conical valve keepers
out of their grooves with the long tweezers.
Ah, and the cylinder has to be pressurised through the spark plug hole,
80 to 100 psi.
