Perfect timing I dont think

A short time ago I set off to deliver a Christmas present to my sister who
lives on the other side of town. Two miles into my journey the dash lit up
like a Christmas tree (seasonal!) the ABS, handbrake and charge light all
lit. The ABS relay still clicked when I switched it and the handbrake light
flashed when I used the handbrake. Not wanting to be stuck with a dead car
away from home on today of all days I headed back. The Urq is now in my
garage with some pieces of rubber and cloth where the alternator drive belt
used to be. The belt was new in March and was in perfect condition when I
checked it at the beginning of the month - guess what isn't in my collection
of spares?
