You don't have to flare the fenders with the A8 wheels.  These wheels are
only 7" wide, NOT 7.5" wide like most aftermarket wheels.  They fit, just
barely, without any modifications to the rear body work.  I've BTDT before
I offered these wheels to the list for sale.  The fit is so close, however,
that if you want to run 215mm wide tires, you'll have to go with
significant negative camber.

BTW, you're right about the 205/55/16 size being the correct plus one tire
size for the 5k/200tq cars.
