Dealer fix for A4 brake squeal

I was pleasantly surprised to find out the other day that there is a
dealer
(i.e. no charge) fix for the famous A4 brake squeal.

I took my A4 in for its 18 month service last Wednesday.  Checking
through
the invoice I noticed that the front and rear brake pads had been
modified to
eliminate the squeal.  

So far everything has been fine.  

The dealership was Audi of Bernardsville (NJ) but I imagine that any
dealership
should be able to perform the service.

Just FYI.....

P.S.  Last Wed when I took my car in I had the 18 mo. service, mounting
and                   balancing of four snow tires,  the brake
modification AND the KG airbag
recall all done in under 3 hours.  I know a lot of people don't like
their dealerships
but I like this one......
