An alignment check would be prudent after changing the bushings anyway. If the
car were correctly aligned prior to the bushings failure then good alignment
would probably be restored upon replacing. However, if the car were aligned
after the bushings failure, then the alignment will be off upon changing them.
In either case a check is in order. Best I can tell, if the pivot point of the
control arm changes, at least camber will change as well. Seems like a prudent
thing to do to me...alignments are lots cheaper than tahrs.
