SNOW testimonial!

	Just a quick testimonial...
The big winter storm has arrived, and this morning I woke to find
the 87 5KTQ BURIED in 14" of fresh snow. As I trudged past a fellow
motorist who was busy digging out his GEO Prism, I noticed that the snow
had drifted over both the front and back of the car. Great, I thought, an
added challenge!
After brushing the snow off, and allowing the car to warm-up, I
engaged reverse and hit the gas! As the snow was high enough to almost
"float" the car, the wheels had trouble finding traction. After a few
attempts, I locked the diffs, and SHAZAM!! The car dug through and
motivated! The car made it to the plowed-out road (about 20 yards), and
got me to work safely.
((Of course, the Dunlop Graspic HS-1's might have had something to
do with it as well!)) :-) All in all, an excellent adventure.
--> Interesting note: The Quattro system is far superior to the
AWD system which my '90 Mitsubishi Eclipse used.

Sorry for the BW, but thought some listers might get a kick out of
the story!
