battery fluid drain

Recently I replaced the battery in my '89 100 with an Interstate MT91,
which has a single drain outlet situated at the center rear. But the old
drain tube does not fit to the size and shape of the new battery's outlet.
Before I start to cobble something together with bits of plastic tubing,
does anyone know if an adapter is readily availble? The MT91 has an
oval-shaped outlet, about 5x10 mm.
