Are you sure that it's not the other way round?
I have just ordered a complete set for my '98 A4. The fiche shows one
type for the fronts and 2 types for the rears (one - for the U.S.
market, the second - the "factory" ones). I have been told that the
reason is the existence of two styles of RR bumpers, Euro one is
slimmer, whereas the U.S. one is beefier.
I ordered all three sets with an option to choose the right one for the
RR of my car.
BTW, in light of the above info, I doubt that the RR guards from a Euro
80 would fit the Nort American 90.
