I've designed and built mine around a 4011 CMOS chip (a quad NAND gate)
and a piezo buzzer.

It turns the beeping repeater "ON" if either of turn indicators is "ON"
AND the Stereo sys is "ON".
The repeater is "OFF" if both turn indicators are "ON" regardless of the
Stereo.
I've done it in this particular configuration as not to drive myself
nuts if for some reason I have to sit in the idling car with the Stereo
"ON" AND with the four-way (emergency) flashers turned "ON" as well.

Although the clicking of a 200 turn signal relay is quite audible, it is
impossible to hear when I turn on my rolling Alpine "concerto hall".
More than once did I catch myself driving with the signal still blinking
way past the intersection at which I've been turning the last time.
Embarrassing.
