Crank Fire?

Mike,
That's what I did on my EFI system for the 5KCSTQ. I put an
aluminum wheel on the cam pulley, and placed 4 magnets 90 deg apart on the
circumference of the wheel. These triggered a hall effect sensor which
then sends 2 pulses per engine revolution to the ECU(don't forget, the cam
turns half engine rpm.) I am running 4 cylinder software, so that's why I
need 2 pulses and not 2.5. Since my EFI system is a simultaneous fire
system which does not sequence the injector firing, it works just fine.
