Possible New Audi A4 1.8T Owner with questions

Hi, I have just completed the paperwork for a new 98 A4 Quattro 1.8T.
What a beautiful car. Great performance for only 1.8L.
I do have a few questions for those that went through the buying
experience. Is it that rare of a car that the dealer was only willing to
give me a $350 discount? I am not too upset at the price, but I would like
to know if anyone else has gotten a better deal. I live in Wisconsin so it
may be that there is only 1 dealer in the area and so they are unwilling to
deal.
It is odd, but I have only driven the car in the rain on both test drives.
Fantastic traction, didn't even flinch. Does the car forecast "the edge" of
its grip? My Cobra lets me know where its limits are and I was wondering if
I can expect the same from the A4.
