My '93 100 CSQW also does not have a transmission dipstick.  My Audi 
technician at the dealer says I can't buy one.  He claims that the 
fluid level is measured by temperature and pressure.  A dipstick 
would be nice just to see if there is anything in there for peace of 
mind.  If you want to change the fluid yourself, the 100 automatic 
holds 3.1 quarts.
