I don't believe the CC in the 1993-95 90s (probably the 100s, too, since
the system is the same) use such a fan. The sensor is just stuck under
a little grille in the top of the dash. (I've often thought about installing
such a fan to see if it makes the system any more accurate...)
There is a TSB, however, against 1993-ish 90s (and maybe 100s) for a
center CC vent whine/whistle. As I recall, it had something to do with
a bad evap. drain valve (air sucked in through it wistled because of the
check flag) or a bad seal in the evap./heater core box.
I'll look it up tonight and see what I get...
