Unfortunately some of it may be in the A/C solenoids and probably a
few ounces has incorporated itself into the rubber of the PCV system...
:-(.  There's probably a little hanging out inside the intercooler and
hoses, too.

It's funny, some of the Audis I've had experience with have had
negligible oil consumption while others have been pretty thirsty, without
much noticeable difference in how they run or how long they last.  My
dad's '85KT with 140k mi still amazes him with how little oil it uses
between changes.
