E-brake replacement/200q

Hi folks,
    I got my Q back today and received some unpleasant news.. my e-brake
cable is rusted and sticking. Uh-huh.. great. Sure enough, I get in the car
and I can feel about 1/8 application of the brakes as I drive about. So,
anybody do this before? Am I gonna get to test out the lifts in the shop
now? How 'bout parts? Is this a one hammer job, or a five hammer job? The
Audi gods are relentless; one after another... power steering pump,
alternator, tires, starter, e-brake cable... ARRRGH!.. where's that light
at the end of the tunnel? Hopefully, it'll be soon.

Any help at all, in changing the E-brake cable, is much appreciated. Look
forward to a followup sometime next week. Thanks again!
