This is from memory, so may not be very accurate and will be missing some 
detail, but if you're interested, I will look up some more info tonight.

British Audi 100 2.2 litre 5 cylinder engines, 1983 - 1989
Code Year cc   hp   kat  inj
WC   1983 2144 136  no   K

NF?  1989 2309?     135? yes  KE?

Your dealer might be able to look this up for you.

I would also guess that with a little bit of work, you would be able to fit 
any of these engines into your car.
