Thanks for the emails, guys - I've so far had 26.  Since they were much the 
same in tone,  I won't quote any.  Except perhaps Doug Quebbeman's ...

On another subject; the ur-quattro has a venting plug on top of the main 
radiator - it's an M8 x 1.0mm brass bolt with a flat ground on one side of the 
threaded portion.  Mine has been screwed in cross-threaded, and now has no grip 
at all.  I've turned down and threaded an old M10 bolt for now - but I can't 
find a source of M8 x 1.0mm (so-called 'metric fine') anywhere.
 
It wouldn't be so bad - but the spares microfiche doesn't mention it.  There is 
a perfectly good drawing of several ur-quattro radiators - but none have bleed 
vents.

Anyone got a VAG/Audi part # for this thing?
