Fuel lines

While working on the conversion I was grinding near the fuel line ends in the
engine compartment. I did cover the fittings with tape so the shavings did
not get into them but I slipped and the grinder touched the flare on the
fitting. That looks like it will be a huge problem and I am thinking that
there must be some kind of contingency for this. The fuel line goes all the
way to the back of the car so replacing it is not an easy proposition. I did
try to clean it up with a file but have little confidence that it will hold
when I apply pressure to it.

So is there a way to salvage this line? Any BTDT's out there? Who would have
the ability to reflare this end? The fitting itself is fine so it is just a
matter of getting the end right.
