Again a topic which I know has bounced around
the List for some time, but hopefully I can get some input.
After I cleaned the car yesterday, I again
had to take it outdoors into the 10 to 20 degree F weather and park it while I
cleaned the other car. Later when I started the '83 to go out again, I
heard this quite high pitched whine which seemed to be coming from under the
back seat behind me. It has not stopped since, other than when I switch
off. It also does not start until the engine is actually running, i.e. if
I just turn the ignition to the first notch where all the idiot lights come on,
there is no noise.
