My battery died last night in the Michigan wind
chill (9pm at work, no-one around to assist). I noticed recently that one
of our listers mentioned that only certain specialized batteries are appropriate
for the underseat application.
Any recommendations? I am also intending to try the
variable regulator upgrade becuase part of my problem is the short distance to
and from work as well as the pervasive cold and outside storage.
Any link to that strange noise from the Fuel
pump? I also smelled electrical burning as the battery finally
died.
