Thomas, I will handle a few of the easy ones.  You should try
to free up the diff lock mechanism after disconnecting hoses.
Then you can apply vacuum to both sides and see if it moves.
If not, or if it doesn't hold the vacuum, replace the vac. servo.

The brake light is probably from the brake fluid level, not 
the handle.  The warning light is tied to both.

Lastly, colorado drivers are some of the worst I have ever seen.
Talk about road rage.  When I leved there is the eighties, I saw
people run each other off the road on purpose!  I don't miss that
part.  I think california drivers are by an large much better,
although watch out in foul weather.
