... keep in mind that the k24 is used on the newer cars, and thus may 
benefit from some of the advancements in compressor and turbine designs 
in recent years ... I'm not speaking from explicit knowledge, just sur-
mising.  You are probably correct that the old k26 can put out more 
volume than the k24, but you may be doing it at a lower efficiency.  I 
would suggest that you might want to look for a k26 based turbo with 
newer wheels (a la RS2).  I can't say I've heard much lately on the 
availability of the RS2 turbo or anything newer that can beat it ...
